Chartering Organization: Friends of Hemlock Gorge
Pack 210 has been an active Cub Scout Pack for 25 years! As a designated "Family Pack" we welcome children K-5 of all genders.
Just some of our activities in the past few years included:
Camping at New England Base Camp;
Hiking the Blue Hills, Beaver Brook and Lynn Woods;
Meeting with the Newton Police, Newton Fire Department and Coastal Ambulance Service;
Rock climbing;
Volunteer events including Cradles to Crayons, park clean ups, and the Carroll Center Walk for Independence; and
Overnight stays at Woo Sox stadium, Battleship Cove and Sturbridge Village.
Den and Pack meetings will typically meet at the Carroll Center for the Blind's Technology Building (https://carroll.org/) 770 Centre St in Newton on select Thursday evenings (see calendar for meeting schedules). Our meeting space is generously donated to us from the Carroll Center for the Blind, our location sponsors.
If you have a child in grades K-5 that is interested in Scouting, please click on the "Contact Our Pack" above and send an email. It's never to late to join the fun!

Pack Service Project
Saturday January 10th, 10:00am - Noon
Cradles to Crayons (281 Newtonville Ave, Newtonville, MA 02460)
This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, and is a meaningful and fulfilling service experience. Cradles to Crayons provides essential items ranging from basic clothing/socks/shoes to toys for children aged birth - 12 years old; it is an eye-opening experience, and very tangible for kids. Please take a look around your basement/closets, and if you have any new or gently-used clothing items, feel free to bring those to donate, but your time and energy is all that is needed. C2C accepts new and gently used child-appropriate clothing, shoes and outerwear, sizes from infant to adult size medium or adult size 10 shoe/boot. We have donation bags available if needed. We have slots for 35 volunteers, so registration is for Scouts initially, but we will open up for siblings later if we have space.
Keep an eye on your email for more details and for a parent volunteer SignUpGenius!
