Lions' Den

Welcome Lions!

Lions is the Cub Scout program for kids in kindergarten.  It is a joint program where a caregiver participates actively in the sessions with their child.  

Den Leader Message

From Den Leader, Chris Zeigler:

Hi! My name is Chris, and I've been in scouting since I was 7. I'm also dad to a fourth generation scout, and I'm excited to pass scouting on to tomorrow's leaders.

This year, our Tigers and Lions will play games, visit community organizations, and have lots of fun. It's my belief that advancement is like a suntan - it comes naturally when having fun outdoors. It's my goal for our scouts to get out and have fun while learning citizenship, safety skills, and outdoor know-how.

Lions' Calendar of Events (Den only events and more to come)

We meet at the Carroll Center at 6-7 on the first Thursday of months without a pack activity.  Come join us October 2, November 6, and January 8, with more meetings to be announced soon.

October 8th's Den Meeting will be held at Newton City Hall's Auditorium!
