Welcome to the Arrow of Light!
The Arrow of Light year in Cub Scouts is for kids in the fifth grade. It's a great year to start scouting as it prepares kids for bridging into to the Scouting years (6th grade and beyond). Parents or caregivers are encouraged to participate in den meetings and required for overnight trips.
Den Leader's Message
From Den Leader, Julie Winsett:
Julie was a Girl Scout, with treasured memories of scouts camping, and fondly recalls her parents volunteering at her troop too - she is excited for her kids to make similar happy memories! She has been active in the Pack for over 7 years now, with a 4th grade daughter in the Pack, and a 7th grader now in Boy Scouts Troop 205. Julie loves being outside, including hiking, camping, water fun, and biking, and loves trees. She is excited to instill a love and appreciation of nature in our children!
Arrow of Light will continue their Scout journey, in their final year before crossing over to Boy Scouts. We will focus more this year on leadership and independence, as well as ongoing Scout skills, community service, and outdoor adventures.
Pack Schedule (Den activities only and more to come)
We meet at the Carroll Center at 7-8pm on the third Thursday of months without a pack activity. This schedule will change when holidays conflict. Please check the events page for the updated pack and den meeting schedule.
